Certified company registered nurse (RN) to provide basic healthcare services to our company’s employees. The company nurse will be responsible for developing and implementing Health and Safety Programs, assessing health risks, in addition to the prevention and treatment of resultant illness or injury. The company nurse should promote good health among employees by assessing them at regular intervals, keeping health records for every employee, and maintaining good communication with company management regarding healthcare and safety.
To ensure success, the company nurse should possess excellent knowledge and skill in emergency healthcare-related issues in the workplace. They should also assess the work environment to identify any work hazards and plan intervention programs accordingly.
Company Nurse Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement health and safety programs.
● Act as our First Aider
● Manage contact tracing and coordination with Barangay/LGU for Covid related concerns
● Provide emergency treatment in the workplace.
● Administer over-the-counter medication to employees.
● Create a clean, and comfortable sickbay area.
● Answer queries of employees on any health-related concerns
● Promote healthy eating and wellness programs.
● Document all employee injury and illness at EC logbook and keep this information confidential.
● Improve the health of employees through on-going programs and health checks.
● Develop strategies to ensure maximum employee work input.
● Communicate with management on a regular basis.
● Attend seminar workshops on HIV/AIDS, Gender Sensitivity, Family planning, and Stress Management.
● Assist employees on their Phil Care/HMO reporting and concerns.
● Assist employees with Phil health, SSS and ECC applications on sickness, accident and others related
but not limited to health, maternity and work accidents
Company Nurse Requirements:
● Nursing school degree.
● Registered Nurse
● Postgraduate degree in basic occupational health and safety.
● Working experience as a company or a regular nurse.
● Comprehensive Clinical Training in Occupational Health and Nursing.
● Excellent communication and organizational skills.
● Critical-thinking skills.
● A warm and caring disposition.
Company Nurse Responsibilities:
● In-charge of providing medical assistance to injured, sick employee
● Creation of safety standard procedure on workplace
● In charge of accident investigation and solution creation
● In charge of home visit and medical certificate verification
● In charge on leave monitoring
● In charge of memo issuance and counselling
● In charge on Accident calendar tracking and DOLE compliance reports
● In charge on administration/assistance of government related benefits
● Create safety and health and workplace ergonomics training
● Spearheaded creation of 5’s work station policy and team leaders
● Co-manage HMO renewal
● Creation of policies on PTB, Sexual Harassment, Smoke Free and Drug Free Workplace
● Assists on DOLE audit and other inspections.
● Administer Annual Physical Exams of all employees (APE)
● Conduct safety training to all new employees
